Songbirds In Flight
Our neighborhood Juvenile Red-tailed Hawk becoming an self-sufficient young adult under the watchful, but discrete, eye of a parent. Ruddy Turnstones are global travelers. It is probably apparent that herons are favorites. Here is one of them. Tricolor Herons are a smaller heron, but they stand tall like Great Blues rather than crouching like night-herons & green herons. 2nd shot is comparison with Great Blue.
